Dr. Lewis R. Roberts, M.B., Ch.B., Ph.D., is a Professor of Medicine in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Roberts completed medical school at the University of Ghana in 1982, earned a Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Iowa in 1992, and became Board Certified in Gastroenterology at the Mayo Clinic in 1998.

He is a leader in the management and treatment of hepatitis B patients and is also passionate about addressing health disparities. Dr. Roberts has been serving liver cancer patients for more than 27 years.
