Dr Anteneh Tesfaye, MD, is a medical oncologist and hematologist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Dr Tesfaye earned his medical degree from the University of Gondar in 2005 and became Board Certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine in 2016.

Dr Tesfaye is a leader in the management of treatment of gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancer patients and is passionate about addressing health disparities in the Black community. Dr Tesfaye has been serving gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancer patients for more than 8 years.

Dr Tesfaye will discuss effective colorectal cancer screening tests, beyond a colonoscopy. He will also explain screening guidelines for those who are at higher risk. He will also discuss how colorectal cancer survivors can stay healthy.
