Dr James Posey, MD, is a Board-Certified hematologist and oncologist with over 27 years of experience treating gastrointestinal cancers. A recognized leader in his field, Dr Posey has conducted numerous clinical trials and mentored junior colleagues.
He is passionate about addressing health disparities in Black and African American communities and is currently working to develop a coalition of oncologists to better serve underserved populations.
Dr Posey will address colorectal cancer in young African Americans, who is at risk, signs and symptoms, and when to see a doctor. He will also discuss new treatments beyond chemotherapy.
