Dr Kaysia Ludford is an Assistant Professor of General Oncology in the Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She completed her clinical fellowship at MD Anderson and her residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She is board certified in medical oncology and hematology.

Her area of focus is gastrointestinal cancers, and she recently received a special project grant within the Alliance of Clinical Trials in Oncology Cancer Control Program to further her research. Dr Ludford has over 10 years of experience in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.

Dr Ludford will discuss colorectal cancer risk factors and what our Black and African American Community can do to reduce their risk for colorectal cancer, as well as the latest treatments.
